Sector 9 Almabtrieb 2016 Day #3 Recap – Time Qualifications

Another day another cloud, but this one had a very silver lining. After two warm up runs, timed qualification began with riders going down 1 by 1 with approximately 20 seconds between them. The faster riders usually went first during the run and all had to endure the patchy conditions present on the track after it had dried up a bit from earlier. So foot braking like a damn G was the name of the game, if you wanted a clean run. But the sun would occasionally poke through and the track dried up well for the second timed run.
